Carers Week 2022
Join us to help make caring visible, valued and supported.
Carers Week 2022 takes place 6-12 June and the theme this year is ‘Make caring visible, valued and supported’.
Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. It also helps people who might not identify themselves as carers to come forward and access support.
Buy a virtual balloon and you could win a prize!
We’re hosting a virtual balloon race during Carers Week this year to raise much needed funds for unpaid carers. A balloon costs £3 and you can follow its progress during Carers Week (challenge your friends and family and see whose balloon travels furthest!). There are some great prizes for the winners, including a £75 luxury hamper from Harding Gomez and a £40 COOK voucher donated by 3H Foundation.
Taking part is easy. Simply head over to the balloon race website to buy and customise your balloon.
