New to caring?

Whether you’re new to caring or have been doing it for a while, we are here to help. There are around 48,000 carers in Wiltshire. If you are one of them and live in the area, or the person you care for does, why not join our growing community of carers?

If you can spend a couple of minutes answering a few questions about your caring role, we’ll be able to give you a customised guide to the information and services which are most relevant to your particular situation.

We Care.

Illness, disability and old age; there are many reasons why 3 in 5 of us will need to look after a loved one and become a carer at some point in our lives. It can be extremely rewarding, but it can also be tough. We can help.

How we can help

Our services include one to one support, befriending, complementary therapies, days out and breaks, plus free training courses, a Facebook group to connect to others, support groups and carer cafes. We also offer specialist support for those serving in the military and young adult carers aged 18-25.

If you are a young carer, check out our website just for you.
