Level 2 Mental health first aid qualification – ages 14+

Do you help support someone struggling with their mental health? Do you want to attain a recognised qualification for your own development, whilst also meeting other young carers? Then this could be the qualification for you.

This qualification has been designed with children and young people in mind covering areas such as depression, self harm, eating disorders and bullying, and will provide the knowledge and skills to identify a potential mental health condition, start a conversation and provide support and guidance to professional help.

All course materials are supplied and certificate provided. This event will run from 9:30-12:30 plus time for 1-2-1 assessments with an instructor afterwards.

This course course can be attended either online or face to face. Please see the What’s On page for details about the face-to-face course.

We will then send out a letter or email to confirm if you/ your young person has been allocated a space. We will try to make sure that everyone who registers interest in a space gets one, however this cannot be guaranteed.
