Carer Support Wiltshire Logo

Carer Support Wiltshire are delighted to have been chosen as charity of the year by Reeds Construction and Engineering, a Wiltshire company based in Market Lavington.

Reeds started as a family firm 35 years ago and now employs 55 specialist staff. These staff members have chosen to raise funds throughout 2023 to support young carers.

Money has already been raised thanks to a raffle held at Reeds’ open day (pictured below). Next, employees and family members are planning to tackle the National 3 Peaks Challenge, climbing the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales; Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon. They will be doing this starting on 7 October and are raising money through a JustGiving page. Please support them if you can!

Reeds will be helping to fund some of our valuable work with young carers, which includes providing workshops designed to teach a range of skills, such as cookery, money management and emotional wellbeing, and giving young carers opportunities to get together.

Thanks to Reeds for your support! Find out more about them here. And if you work for an organisation, or know of one, that might like to partner with us we’re always happy to discuss ways to support unpaid carers. Contact fundraising@carersupportwiltshire.co.uk
