This is a monthly round up of information especially for parent carers.
The below information was correct on 23/01/2024.
WSUN update
It was lovely to see those who attended the parent carer support group this month. Unfortunately the person from WSUN was unable to attend, but will be coming to the group in April. WSUN can support young autistic people aged 14+. You can visit their website here – www.wsun.co.uk/wiltshire-autism-hub

Coming up in February are some Wiltshire Council wellbeing sessions that will cover topics such as managing worries positively, building skills in resilience and self-confidence and supporting your own wellbeing. View the flyer with more information below.
Carers Trust grants for driving lessons and tests
For a limited time, until the end of March 2024, Carers Trust are able to accept applications for the cost of driving lessons and tests. Carers aged 16+ can receive grants of up to £300.
Applications will also be considered for other purposes, such as holidays and respite care, essential household items and courses and personal development. Carer Support Wiltshire can process the grants to those registered with us, although we are limited in the number we can put forward so do get in touch ASAP if this is of interest to you.
