We are currently supporting Wiltshire Council with the development of its new dementia strategy. An important part of that is hearing the views of people who live in Wiltshire and are caring for someone living with dementia.
You may already have completed our online survey but this is now your chance to join Wiltshire Council face-to-face to discuss your views on the support for carers of someone living with dementia.
Wiltshire Police will also be in attendance to talk about a pilot scheme coming to Wiltshire, implementing safety wristbands for those living with dementia to support them in the community.
Sessions are taking place on the following dates:
13 July 2023
1.00pm – 3.00pm
Methuen Room, Springfield Campus, Beechfield Road, Corsham, SN13 9DN
14 July 2023
10.00am – 12.00pm
Trowbridge Rugby Club, Paxcroft, Hilperton, Trowbridge, BA14 6JB
26 July 2023
11.00am – 1.00pm

You can book your place now by calling 0800 181 4118 or emailing admin@carersupportwiltshire.co.uk
Bringing together carers and commissioners you’ll have the opportunity to discuss what works well, what else needs to happen and who might deliver that for you so that you feel supported in your caring role. This is your opportunity to let commissioners know what’s important to you as a carer looking after someone living with dementia.
If you are unable to attend these events, and have yet to respond to our online survey, you still have time to do so. Complete the survey here.
