We’re excited to celebrate Carers Week once again this week (9th to the 15th)! This year’s theme, ‘Caring About Equality’, shines a spotlight on the incredible contributions of unpaid carers – and the need to make sure you get the recognition and support you truly deserve.
As carers, you already know how essential you are. Whether you’re supporting loved ones, neighbours, or friends, you play a vital role in society every single day.
All too often, your dedication comes with tough challenges – like social isolation, mental and physical health struggles, or missed opportunities in work, education, and life.
Carers Week is our chance to celebrate carers everywhere, highlighting the barriers faced, and championing a future where you’re properly supported and valued.
In order to celebrate Carers Week 2025 we’ve got some exciting events lined up just for you! From relaxing activities to informative workshops, we’re hosting a variety of events designed to give you a well-earned break and support you in your caring role.
Take a look at the list of events below and join us in making this Carers Week one to remember!
Highgrove Gardens – SOLD OUT
We’re thrilled to have once again been invited back to Highgrove Gardens for a beautiful guided tour on Thursday 12 June! Thanks to the generous team at Highgrove, we’ve been welcomed back for an exclusive 90-minute tour of these spectacular gardens, bursting with colour and charm.
The treats doesn’t stop there! After the tour, you’ll be served a complimentary cream tea in the estate’s elegant private dining room – a perfect way to relax and soak in the beauty of the day while chatting with other unpaid carers!
Unfortunately this event is totally sold out.
Care Homes & Carers Q&A – TICKETS STILL AVALIBLE
This Carers Week, we’re excited to be teaming up with MHA Fairways Residential and Dementia Care Home to bring you a friendly Q&A session, designed especially for carers across Wiltshire!
Whether you’re curious about care home life, navigating decisions, or simply want to better support someone you care for, this is your chance to get answers. Home Manager Adam Baker will be on hand to answer your questions and offer expert advice to help you in your caring role.
Can’t make it on the day? No problem – you can still send in your questions and we’ll make sure they’re asked on your behalf!
