Carer Support Wiltshire Logo

We are facing challenging times across our communities. The Wiltshire Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS) organisations want to support all the people we work with as best we can. In order to do that, we are joining forces to work in partnership so that we can cover the geographical spread to reach and support as many people as need us across Wiltshire.

If you are worried, self-isolating or need a listening ear, practical advice or help to get shopping, prescriptions etc please contact us and we will do our very best to support you using our combined workforce and volunteers across Wiltshire.

If you are feeling anxious about coronavirus: It’s completely understandable to be worried about the impact coronavirus may have on you or those you care about. Try to stay calm and follow the official advice from the Government. The charity Mind has information you might find helpful.

If your symptoms are mild you don’t need to contact the NHS. But if your symptoms are getting worse and you reach a point where you would normally call for medical care, you should ring 111 for help. You can also use the NHS specialist online coronavirus service for advice. If you think you have might have coronavirus don’t go to your doctor’s surgery or hospital.

If you have a new, continuous cough or high temperature the Government has advised that you stay at home for 7 days. There’s advice from the Government on how to manage if you’re staying at home.

If you think you can offer support to people in your local community please look on our social media pages where we are sharing lots of good ideas on how people can support each other or get in touch and we can send you information directly.
