Born in London, I have worked at the BBC, been a waitress and worked in good old BHS. I came into the field of health and social care working in a day centre. I qualified as a social worker in 1998, initially worked with asylum seeker adults and families and then forensic mental health and drug and alcohol services in London. I lived in Italy for two years and then moved to Wiltshire in 2004.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends – trying to keep track of ever increasing extended family, dog walking, listening to music of all kinds, especially live music. I used to play the piano and I’m trying to work out another, more portable instrument to learn!)
